The cheese platter is one of the more photogenic subjects in food culture, and this canvas takes a different approach to it entirely. The arrangement is reimagined as geometric abstraction: purples, blues, creams, and browns used as pure form and colour, the cheeses, grapes, and crackers present as shape rather than subject. It asks you to look at something familiar from a different angle, which is exactly what the best abstract art does.

Kitchen wall art or dining room wall art for contemporary homes where the art should be both specific and surprising. Works in a modern interior with a clean palette, or anywhere the walls are ready for something intellectually direct. A good choice for homes that take both food and design seriously.
