Vegetables in the instant of collision with water: the hyperrealist approach gives the splash its full visual complexity, every droplet tracked, every surface tension and refraction observed. The composition captures the moment that photography notices and convention misses, the precision of the treatment turning an ordinary action into an extraordinary subject.

Kitchen wall art for homes where the detail in a piece is taken seriously as well as enjoyed. Works in a kitchen where a boldly observed, hyperrealist canvas about the physics of splashing earns its place on the wall, and in a dining room where the vivid colours and sharp precision set a lively, engaged tone. A striking and technically remarkable piece.
