      The Star is a seven-pointed star symbolising the Federation of Australia, which came into force on the 1st of January 1901.  Six points of the Star represent the six original states of the Commonwealth of Australia, while the seventh point represents Australia's territories and any future states.  The Star Pendant by Georgini has 72 stones representing the Nations and territories of the Commonwealth.  There are 71 Green Nanos and 1 Golden Cubic Zirconia representing Australia. The Star Pendant by Georgini is crafted from 18ct Gold plated 925 sterling silver and measures approximately 24.2.mm long by 17.1mm wide, it comes on a 41cm chain with a 5cm extension.
