Our brand Cronjager.com is inspired by the character Captain Cronjager from homicide in the full-length detective story The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler, which was published during 1939 and set in Los Angeles and Bay City. The novel is immortalised in a film by the same name that starred Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
